Win offers a range of services to their members.
The Gladstone Youth for Cultural Diversity is a group was created by Welcoming Intercultural Neighbours Inc. (WIN) following October 2014 Youth Cultural Diversity Forum. The group was formed by a team of motivated young people who are passionate about cultural diversity in their community. The Gladstone Youth for Cultural Diversity group coordinates cultural events, shares relevant and accurate information and provides an opportunity for young people to get involved in their community.
GYCD Vision:
To create a well-integrated intercultural diverse community, where young people from all backgrounds are supported and encouraged to reach their full potential and make meaningful contributions to their community.
GYCD Mission:
Gladstone Youth for Cultural Diversity group’s mission is to raise cultural awareness and mutual understanding in Gladstone community by encouraging young people to get involved in matters of cultural diversity and by providing a supportive platform to spread positive messages about cultural differences.
GYCD Objectives:
- Increase cultural awareness in among young Gladstone people
- Coordinate relevant events and culturally appropriate events
- Attract new group members including those from a culturally diverse and linguistically background
- Create relationships and opportunities with others youth service providers

We meet regularly at the Gladstone Inclusion Centre – 1 Manning Street, Gladstone. We can help with transport to and from the meetings and all WIN staff members have the working with children blue cards.
